This is just a taste. More to come later.

: The Adventures of Chaura Lin comic: Chaura Lin came about when a renegade DJ realized how easy it is to draw Laura Chin. It was too obvious to name the character Laura Chin so DJ created the clever and super inconspicuous pseudonym Chaura Lin. You probably don’t understand how the artist/DJ/awesomedude got from Laura Chin to Chaura Lin so here it is: If you switch the CH in Chin with the L in Laura, you get CHaura Lin. Do you see what I did there? So Chaura goes on many adventures that almost always involve music, readers, tiny bikes, and sometimes Krankies. Look for Chaura Lin in the super hot (hot as in sexually appealing) Radio Zine.

: Horatio Lee Jenkins: Horatio Lee Jenkins caught our attention with his 2009 EP “Drunker Than Satan” and it has been love ever since. We are big fans of his tracks, “Girl, This Bed Is Too Big Without All 12 Of You” and his smash success labelled as a “new anthem of hope, acceptance, and unconditional Christian love” – “It’s Okay To Be Gay”.  Rhonda: Since 2007, country music singer Rhonda’s albums have adorned our CD wall in the station, pinned up high both physically and in respect. Our favorites include “My House Got Egged”, “Country Breast,” – heck, we love all of them and so should you. It has been a dream held by Wake Radio staff to bring these two together in a Wake Radio Presents: The Dating Game featuring Horatio Lee Jenkins and Rhonda.

: “Wake Radio is Kittens“: The best mistake ever made. In a heated t-shirt making event to celebrate Raptor Awareness Week, the original intended statement was targeted to include some apathetically insensitive criticism of who we are better than (the world, the planets, the Milky Way). To prevent a media circus-ed lawsuit, what we know as “Wake Radio is Kittens” was consequently cemented in puffy paint on a white Hanes V-neck. Coincidentally, a large part of our Wake Radio general staff will contest that they are indeed kittens. Keep your eBay eyes peeled for this vintage shirt that is an heirloom in Wake Radio history. No Reserve, bidding starts at $1,000.

: Slagathor is the captain behind Wake Radio. The boss, the master, the chief. Slagathor connects Wake Radio to the world, broadcasting us into your ears. Occasionally Slagathor will send us humans, messages of disapproval through the blue screen of death or server shut downs. We offer him only the highest-grade freshman meat to hold him in good spirits.

: Wake Radio Twitter Robot: Have you met Craig Ferguson’s robot Geoff? Ours is much like his – we couldn’t control it if we tried. Balls. (Link name to Twitter page)
