Wake Radio is open to Wake Forest University undergraduate and graduate students.

Do I need to be a Communications major to join Wake Radio?
Nope! Wake Radio is an organization for all students, housing a wide array of majors in our members.

Do I need previous radio broadcasting experience?
No, our training process done by our Executive Staff will have you well prepared to be a radio DJ at Wake Radio.

How do I sign up?
Wake Radio will be accessible at many student organization meet and greets in the beginning of the semester. Find us then to get more information. Wake Radio staff also meets every Sunday at 6:30 PM in Benson 409.

What is the intern/training process like to become a radio DJ?
Wake Radio Executive Staff will train you to be proficient in using our broadcasting equipment in addition to learning the professional on-air codes and ethics of our station. You will then be tested on the material before becoming an official Wake Radio DJ. No coffee-runs, we promise.

Can I be a part of Wake Radio but not have my own show or be a radio DJ?
Yes! As a student organization Wake Radio services many other events and activities including music journalistic publications, public relations, fundraising, and more. We are always looking for those who share our love of music to join us.
